“Witch” immerses us in the mystical atmosphere of a small remote village and introduces us to its inhabitants, each of whom has his own problems, dreams and hopes. The beautiful Sonya (Natalya Lesnikovskaya) has long been in love with the handsome blacksmith Roman Maksim Radugin) and tries in vain to attract attention to herself.
On a stormy afternoon, an event took place that would radically change the destinies of all residents of the sleepy village. Roman pulls a half-dead girl Nadia (Evgeniya Loza) from the river in a wedding dress who suffers temporary amnesia and doesn’t even remember her own name or how she ended up in the river. Rumours begin to spread through the village that the blacksmith has an evil power. Who is this girl: a mermaid, a ghost or an angel of unearthly beauty?
Nadia twists the head of all the men in the village with her beauty, some of the local girls resort to love potions to capture their men. The villagers are sure she is a witch, and they want to drive her out of the village. But the local witch doctor Raya says that Nadia is a mysterious “Mare Martyr“.
A few days pass and the memory gradually returns to the girl: she remembers that her name is Nadia. Meanwhile mysterious armed men appear, looking for a girl who looks like Nadia. This is a mystery romance with some crime elements.
