Earth before Birth: How the climate crisis is impacting parenthood
This independent thought-provoking short documentary tells the stories of some people who have chosen not to have children because of climate change while also following the emotional struggles of others who are torn between their desire to become parents and the daunting uncertainties of the planet’s future. The aim of Earth Before Birth is to further shed light on how climate change is impacting people’s lives – in a way that is perhaps not thought of at first. Through well-resonated and punchy statements, interviewees recall their reasons, struggles and emotional journey as to why they are struggling with their decision to become parents amid the climate crisis.
