A Cornish-speaking alien returns to earth with the mortal remains of a 10th Century pilgrim. The alien comes with a warning, a gift and a proposition.
Pulled without warning by the authorities from her day job as a receptionist, 65-year-old Jenna Gwennap finds herself in a secure earth space facility surrounded by government scientists. She has been chosen by an alien and KESTAV, which means CONTACT in Cornish, captures the first recorded encounter between a member of an alien species and humanity. An encounter conducted in the Cornish language. Gwennap is more special than she knows but to understand why, she must confront her past.
