Tschugger, means “cop” in the dialect spoken in the Swiss area of Valais (Wallis), the series is set in the local police force in this Alpine idyll.
Normally, the Valais cantonal police are concerned with minor issues like runaway sheep and drunks at the village festival. Until an improbable murder attempt awakens the crime busting energy of policemen Bax and Pirmin. In the process, the duo not only uncovers local crime networks, but also gets entangled with dark forces.
