Sooner Acquire Lockdown Docuseries Red Zones

UK based producers Ondemotive and British co-producers/distributors Videoplugger are delighted to announce that Red Zones has been picked up in a deal with ContentScope, to stream on their VoD platform SOONER in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Red Zones (4×25′, 2020)

Created by Luca Vullo, Ondemotive Productions and co-produced by Videoplugger. A look at the emotional and psychological impact of COVID-19 on people in Europe and beyond. Red Zones has been commissioned by SKY Italy and broadcast on SKY tg24. The series features interviews with actor Michele Riondino, (Young Montalbano), footballer Filippo Inzaghi, comedian Corrado Guzzanti (Murder at Barlume), artist Jo Squillo, and world record-breaking navigator Giovanni Soldini, sailor Max Sirena and Paralympic athlete Giusy Versace (Versace family). The series has been shortlisted for the 2020 Content Innovation Awards.

SOONER is a new European film and series platform where content can be accessed via streaming as part of a subscription or individually for a fee. SOONER is operated by the French-German joint venture ContentScope. The shareholders of the joint venture are Metropolitan Film Export from Paris and the Berlin-based EYZ Media.
